Add Message Template for WhatsApp Official

In Kuasa Whatsapp Official, templates are used in template messages to open marketing and utility conversations with customers. Unlike free-form messages, template messages are the only type that can be sent to customers who have yet to message you or have not sent you a message in the last 24 hours.

Templates must be approved based on the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy before they can be used to initiate messages. Below are the steps to add the message template.

  1. Login to your account via https://campaigns.kuasa.io/

  2. Click Campaigns.

  1. Click on Templates under the Broadcast section.

  1. Click + New Template button to add a new template for your WhatsApp Official.

  1. Click Marketing and select Custom. To send messages about specific transaction, account, order or customer request, you may click Utility.

  1. Enter your message template name and choose the language for your message template.

  1. Click Continue button to proceed.

  1. You may choose to use Text or Media as your header.

  1. You may choose JPEG, JPG or PNG file as the header content. The maximum size for file upload is 2MB.

  1. Enter your text and footer for your message.

Characters limit for Body: 1024 characters

Characters limit for Footer: 60 characters

  1. You may add buttons to your template.

  1. You may preview your message template on top right. If you are done with the template, you may click Submit button.

Approval Process

Once you have created your template you can submit it for approval. It can take up to 24 hours for an approval decision.

If your message template is approved, its status will be set to APPROVED and you can begin sending it to customers. If it is rejected, you can edit it and resubmit for approval, or appeal the decision.
